About Me

I knew her when.....I began listening to the voices in my head a long time ago. As a friend reminded me, 7th grade Social Studies seemed to be a source of inspiration. Sorry Mom and Dad and the teacher whose name escapes me some thirty odd years later. I am a born and bred New Yorker living in the same town in the Lower Hudson Valley my entire life. I come from a close knit family who have been nothing but supportive in my writing endeavors.

I belong to a circle of writer friends all of whom I am privileged to call my friends.I have a dog or rather my dog has me. He knows when I am on the phone even with Blue Tooth in my ear and vies for my attention. A ringing phone is his cue to bark incessantly or try to do unmentionable things. Threats do not work but the occasional treat does.

I live a normal, average life. A chips and beer girl more comfortable in well worn jeans frayed at the hems and a pair of strappy sandals people question my ability to walk in. I am not a very sporty outdoorsy sort of gal. I do like my hockey and I like my hockey players. Hmmm perhaps another book for another time. I can once in a while play a mean game of darts and have been known to launch a few balls of a pool table.

My music tastes are eclectic and I am not ashamed to like a few songs from current boy bands. Music is music besides, do we really care how old they are as long as they can sing? I have a small....okay okay.....huge shoe addiction and was once coined the Shoe Lady. My sense of humor is a cross between snarky and obnoxious. I love to laugh and love making people laugh. As the Tuesday night ladies will attest to a good laugh is contagious. This is me in a nutshell. Family and my ever growing list of friends mean everything to me. Thanks again for stopping by. Please feel free to leave a comment and I'll be sure to get back to you.
